Jim Davis, The creator of garfield. this man has made something, something incredible, and something awful. he has created garfield(the orange cat & the series). if you imagine the world of media as a spider web, and each grain of content being a fly on it. then garfield would be the spider, using it's legs to move between bits of media with ease. you can put any one of the characters in any one piece of media, its amazing.
